ROBIN HOOD'S BAY FOLK WEEKEND 2015

June 5th/6th/7th A FREE WEEKEND*

of Music Sessions and Singarounds in and around the 'famed city of Robin Hood's Bay'
on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast.

OUTLINE PROGRAMME:

Friday 5th:
8.30 - Late: Club Night: Singers & Musicians in Ye Dolphin : MC Jim
*7.30 start Community Ceilidh in the Village Hall with music by
the Fyling Hall Ceilidh Band (£5 on the door - bring a bottle).
Saturday 6th:
Noon to 2.30 -ish: Bayfolk Showcase in Ye Dolphin Big Room with Carrie Martin
- Featuring Bayfolk Regulars
Saturday lunchtime onwards: Instrumental Music Session with Pete James
in Ye Dolphin downstairs bar
*3.30 start: Concert by The Wilsons at Old St. Stephen’s Church on the hill.

2.30 - 5.00: Afternoon S&M Session in Ye Dolphin Big Room with Garry Burnett
6.00 - 7.00: Cafe Concert in the Bramblewick Restaurant with Carrie Martin
7.30 - Late: Evening Session in Ye Dolphin Big Room with Garry & Jim
- Featuring Visiting Singers & Musicians, Martin Curtis and Beggar’s Bridge
Sunday 7th:
1.00 - 4.00: Afternoon Session in Ye Dolphin Big Room
featuring The Smugglers
from 8.30 - ish: Last Survivor’s Session in the bottom bar of the Bay Hotel

The Bay Folk Club meets every Friday Evening in the big room of Ye Dolphin,
on King Street in the old village of Robin Hood’s Bay,
and keeps alive the local tradition of music and singing.
We usually start between 8.30 and 9.00 p.m.
