Gates open from 6.30pm – 10pm
Well our little town has not had an organised community bonfire and fireworks display for 18 years! Well with alot of hard work the club has managed to bring it back!
Oh the memories…… well now is the time to bring your children to the event and remember the good old days. We have booked the same company as the regatta use, so you are in for a good show.
The display is solely for the community and we cannot of done it without the help of Whitby Fire Brigade, North Yorkshire Police, Scarborough Borough Council, Whitby Coast Homes, The Co-operative & Sainsburys.

All Adults £5.00 with all their child(ren) are free of charge
Wristbands can be purchased from the Rugby Club (Mon- Fri after 7pm and weekends) and Agars on flowergate during office hours.
All pre paid Adults go into a draw to win an ipad courtesy of The Computer Centre.
This is to avoid queues (everyone hates queues!!) so pre pay is vital.
Hot food and Drinks can be purchased from the food tents, there is a lost child point and first aid inside the club house. All the field will be cordoned off for safety and stewards are patrolling the perimeter walls. We have a permit to street collect around the field and put in for no parking along stakesby road, love lane and white leys road.
Information
As we want the event to become Whitbys 4th biggest, we must atleast break even as the Rugby Club cannot afford to run at a loss. All ticket sale profit will role into the following years budget to make each year bigger and better. So its up to the community to support the event.
As safety is key to this event being a success, you will not be allowed into the venue with Sparklers, Pets, Your own Alcohol or Fireworks.
Car Parking – You can use the leisure centre car park and walk up, will take approx 10mins. If you live on the east side of town – Sainsburys are putting on a Park and Ride service with Buses running from 6.10pm to 10pm.
